The show honors the best television programs from June 1, 2016, until May 31, 2017, and is telecasted by the Academy of Television arts and sciences. White cherry entertainments have produced the 69th Emmy awards; Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner are the executive producers of the show. Television Academy chairman and CEO Hayma Washington announces the top categories of the 69th Emmy awards during a live ceremony at the Television Academy's wolf theater. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, Sep 17, 2017; at the Microsoft theaters in downtown Los Angeles, California and CBS will broadcast the show in the US.
