How to Record a Movies and TV shows in Roku

If you have an HDTV antenna, you can able to watch live Streaming movies and TV shows in Roku. You can also record movies and TV shows with a device like Tablo TV and you can watch, pause, and record.

When you combine Tablo with Roku you can watch, pause, and record.
The Tablo channel is available in the Roku channel store under the 'TV & Movies' category. The Tablo app is supported on the current generations of the Roku 1-4 and HDMI stick.


·    Select the Tablo channel, and then select the Tablo Shows that you want to connect it.
·    Once connected to your Tablo, you will be lead to Tablo Roku channel home screen.

On the home screen you will display the sections like:

1.      Live TV screen
2.      Recordings screen
3.      TV Shows, Movies, Sports screen
4.      Scheduled recordings screen



1.   Live TV Screen

·    The Live TV screen displays a list of available programs that are currently playing on your channels. 

·    Selecting a show from the list of available programs will start the video player. Once the video is playing, you can pause and rewind. 

2.  Recordings Screen

·    The recordings screen allows you to access your recorded programs. Recordings can be sorted by date, popularity, genre and alphabetically. 
·    When you select a recording to watch, a synopsis of the series is showed.  

3.  TV Shows Screen 

·    The TV shows screen will show you all TV shows in advance within the next 14 days.
·    For faster scrolling, the list must be sorted in alphabetically order.
·    It can also be used to filter in category wise like Prime time, Movies, and Sports.



4.   Scheduled recording Screen

·     From this screen you can see all of your pending recordings.
·     Scheduled recordings are sorted by date.
·     You can easily un-schedule the recording and schedule the new recording while recording.
