How to change the screensaver on your Roku streaming device

A screensaver is an application that fills the TV screen with patterns or moving images. Screensaver were originally designed to prevent phosphor burn-in on older TV’s, but are now used primarily for entertainment. Changing the screensaver can personalise your Roku experience.

You can find many new screensaver in the Screensaver category in the Roku Channel Store.

   How to access the Screensaver menu on Roku device:

·  Press Home  on your remote to open the main screen.

·  Scroll up or down and select Roku account Settings.



  • Now to Change the screensaver.
  • Go to Select Screensaver.
  • Select any screensaver from the list to select Preview for a glimpse.
  • Check any additional settings are available to select Custom settings to make minor adjustments to the highlighted screensaver.


  • To view the effect of any changes, Select Preview
  • When you are new screensaver finished previewing choices, highlight the screensaver name and press on your remote to save.
  • Go to Select Wait time.
  •  Before starting the screensaver or select to disable the screensaver. To set the amount of time Roku device waits.
  • Press on your remote to save.
